Class D
The only drama at Lake Maloney Golf Club in Class D was the weather. With tee times moved up an hour to get ahead of afternoon storms, they almost made it. A delay with approximately four holes left just put off the inevitable as Mullen’s Brendon Walker and North Platte St. Pat’s were in full control of the individual and team races.

Walker, a Hastings College basketball and golf commit, wound up winning the state title with a score of 146 (+2). Runner-up Connor Hasenauer of North Platte St. Pat’s shot a 154 (+10).
