Millard North 2021 graduate Hunter Sallis was named Nebraska’s boys Gatorade Player of the Year.

Sallis, a Gonzaga signee, helped lead the Mustangs to the Class A state championship and a 27-2 record this past season.

Sallis led Millard North in scoring (22.2 points) while chipping in 5.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 steals per game.

A consensus top-20 prospect in the 2021 class, Sallis was named to numerous All-American teams including becoming just the second in-state player to become a McDonalds All-American (Kerry Trotter, Creighton Prep, 1982). On Thursday he was named to the 2021 USA Men’s U19 World Cup Team Training Camp Roster.
