Sallis moves up in ESPN Ranking

0

Millard North senior Hunter Sallis continued his rise up national recruiting rankings with the updated release of the 2021 ESPN Super 60.

Sallis moved up six positions to No. 13 overall according to the site.

In mid-November the 6-foot-5, 175-pound guard named a top eight of Creighton, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oregon and UCLA.

Sallis is a five-star prospect — the first in-state prospect since online recruiting rankings started in the early 2000s — and the No. 6 player in the country, according to 247Sports and Rivals. The 247Sports composite — a ranking that combines the three major services (Rivals, 247 and ESPN) — ranks him at No. 7. With the bump from ESPN his composite ranking will likely move up.

In two games this season, Sallis is averaging 16.5 points, six rebounds, six assists and 4.5 steals per game.
