River Cities Hoops Summer Tip Off: Day One

It was a full day of hoops Friday afternoon and night local AAU basketball teams competed at the River Cities Hoops Summer Tip Off event at the Iowa West Field House in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Here are brief rundowns of Lincoln Supreme National 1’s lone game, as well as three OSA 3SSB games:

Lincoln Supreme National 1 — 60
Hoffman’s Hoops Academy 17U — 37

Jack Hastreiter (Lincoln Pius X), pictured, led Supreme with 13 points and scored nine in the first half. Supreme was in control from the tip and led 35-15 at the half. Brayden McPhail (Lincoln East) and Mason Strong (Omaha North) both added 10 points in the win. Here are a few clips of National 1’s win:

All Iowa Attack — 61

All Iowa Attack — 50

OSA’s Connor Milliken unofficially led everyone with 29 points. The Platteview native scored 17 in the first half as the Crusaders held a 48-33 edge at halftime. Josiah Dotzler (Bellevue West), pictured, chipped in with 18 while Tate Odvody (Omaha Westside) had 17.

All Iowa Attack — 67

Behind 16 points and four corner 3s from Kyle Ingwerson (Papillion-La Vista), pictured, OSA 3SSB 17U earned an 80-67 win over All Iowa Attack. Four others scored in double figures for OSA as Gil Jengmer (GICC) added 14, Josh Dix (Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln) 11, Reggie Thomas (Omaha Westside) 10 and Ruot Bijiek (West Des Moines Valley) 10.
