COLUMBUS – Omaha Duchesne took home the NSAA Class B girls golf state championship today after weather forced the cancellation of the second day of competition at Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus.

With the cancellation of Tuesday’s competition, Monday’s first-round scores became the final scores. The Cardinals dominated the field on Monday and won the team title with a score of 330. Gering finished 30 shots back with a 360 to finish second while Elkhorn was third with a 377.

The individual state championship in Class B went to Duchesne senior Anna Boor, who shot a two-over-par 74 on Monday. Junior Danica Badura of Aurora finished second with a 77 and Duchesne junior Lauren Goertz was third with an 80.
