Ty Ruhl, the top overall prospect in the Nebraska class of 2020 by Prep Baseball Report, announced on Twitter today that he will play his college baseball at Kansas State.

Ruhl, a right-handed pitcher, becomes the second player from Nebraska to commit to Kansas State in the past 24 hours. Elkhorn shortstop Trey Frahm committed to the Wildcats yesterday. Frahm is considered the #3 overall recruit in the 2020 class by Prep Baseball Report.

Ruhl had a 2.74 ERA in 11 appearances for Norris last spring. He also hit .333 in 21 at bats. On the mound, Ruhl’s fastball sits between 86-89 mph and he also features a curve ball and change-up, each registering in the mid to low 70s.
