One of the top softball players in the state has found a college home.
Wayne junior Tori Kniesche announced on Twitter late Tuesday night that she has committed to play at South Dakota State University.
Kniesche has helped lead Wayne to a perfect 31-0 record and the top seed in this week’s Class C state softball tournament. She has been dominant on the mound for the Blue Devils, going 26-0 this season with a ridiculous ERA of 0.174.
Meanwhile, Kniesche has also shown she can swing the lumber as well with a .576 batting average and four home runs and 42 RBIs.
Kniesche and her Wayne teammates take on Cozad in the first round of the state tournament today.
