The three Nebraska Supreme AAU basketball teams — the 17U, 16U and 15U — arrived in Indianapolis on Thursday for the Under Armour Association’s Finals tournament.
Here’s a running list of each team’s games with results:
West Coast Elite NorCal — 71
Nebraska Supreme 17UAA — 66
Supreme built multiple double-digit leads throughout the game, but West Coast Elite — NorCal never went away in Friday’s tournament opener.
Supreme led 18-13 after the first quarter and 37-34 at halftime. The game was tied at 55 heading into the fourth, but West Coast Elite –NorCal wound up outscoring Supreme 16-11 in the fourth.
Supreme trailed 66-59 with 3:50 left in the game, but eventually cut its deficit to 69-66 with 1:07 left after a rebound and putback from Jasen Green (Millard North). A Supreme turnover with under a minute left helped seal the loss.
Jayden Dawson (Omaha Central), a 6-foot-5 guard, led Supreme with 19 points, which included three 3s. The 6-7 Green added 15 points while Isaac Traudt (Grand Island) had nine and Dan Brocaille (Papillion-LaVista South) eight.
William Kyle (Bellevue West), a 6-8 forward for Supreme, chipped in with seven points and multiple blocks.
The court was packed with big-name college basketball coaches. Coaches from TCU, San Diego State, UCLA, Abilene Christian, Drake, Texas A&M, Indiana State, Toledo, Notre Dame, Lipscomb, Cal Poly, Minnesota, San Jose State, Virginia, Creighton, Boston College, Nebraska, Nebraska-Omaha, Northern Illinois, Georgia, Navy, Virginia Tech, DePaul, Illinois, Illinois State, California, Stanford, North Carolina, Purdue, Colorado, Colorado State, Villanova, Butler and Texas, among others.

Fundamental U — 39
Supreme got back on track in its afternoon game against Fundamental U. It held a 36-25 at halftime and 59-33 at the end of the third.
Dawson led the team with 12 points while Kyle added 10 and Kwat Abdelkarim (North Star) chipped in with eight. Three others — Traudt, Brocaille and Green — all scored seven.

The Supreme 15Us forced the first timeout of the game after jumping out to an 8-0 lead, and they never looked back along the way to the lopsided win.
Supreme wound up leading 25-17 at the half and 43-27 after the third.
Jake Hilkemann (North Star) led Supreme with 10 points while two others — Jacob Arop (Bellevue West) and Kajuan Sidney (North Star) added seven. Landon Pokorski (Gretna) and Alex Wilcoxsen (Gretna) each scored six points.

VA Playmakers — 67
Nebraska Supreme 15U — 59
After a slow start to the game, Supreme trailed 16-12 at the end of the first quarter.
Supreme eventually found its footing in the second quarter and wound up leading 30-27 at the half behind four points from both Hilkemann and Arop, as well as five points from Kuet Gatwch (North Star).
Supreme trailed 48-43 heading into the fourth, and could never make a run in the final minutes.
Unofficially, Hilkemann led Supreme with 13 points while Arop, Eldon Turner (Bellevue West) and Treyson Anderson (Pius X) all chipped in with eight points.
