It didn’t take long for the Lincoln Supreme 17U National 2 team to put H&H Elite Black in an early hole it could never climb out of Friday night in the AAU season opener at Speedway Sports Complex in Lincoln.
Supreme jumped out to a 12-0 edge in the first minutes of the game, and behind a team-high 26 points from sharpshooter Quinn Johnson (Loomis), ran away with a 71-49 win.
Johnson had a quick trigger from deep and went 7-of-14 from 3-point range while Seth Stutzman (Milford) added 14 points and Joe Marfisi (Lincoln East) 13.
The 17U National 2s weren’t the only Supreme team in action on Friday — the 16U National 1s took on 810 Varsity, but fell 79-61 after trailing 39-27 at halftime.
Bryson Faines (Lincoln High) led Supreme with 11 points. Jared Townsley (Lincoln East) added 10 points while Cougar Konzem (Ashland-Greenwood) had nine.
Final: 810 Varsity 79, Lincoln Supreme 16U National 1 — 61.
