Lincoln Lutheran’s L’Heureux Ready To Get Rolling

2022 Lincoln Lutheran OL/DL Jack L’Heureux is ready to get rolling this June.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound senior-to-be is planning on attending around five camps this month, including Northern Iowa on June 4, Iowa on June 5 and Nebraska on June 11. Lincoln Lutheran will travel to South Dakota State as a team for a camp as well on June 18-20.

“I’m super excited about these camps,” L’Heureux said. “I live in Lincoln and Nebraska, but I’m excited about that Iowa camp. Iowa is my favorite school, they have a great camp and I love the coaches. Iowa’s the one I’m most excited for.”

L’Heureux, who’s been hearing from recruiters from Nebraska, South Dakota State and Northern Iowa the most lately, is originally from Iowa and lived there before his family moved to Lincoln.

“The people I grew up with, they’re big Iowa fans,” L’Heureux said.

L’Heureux is preparing for these camps with help from former Nebraska and NFL offensive lineman Jeremiah Sirles.

“I’ve been working with him one-on-one, just where to be at in certain positions,” L’Heureux said of learning from Sirles back in March. “I’ve learned a lot of new things and helpful things working with him.”

L’Heureux started on both sides of the ball at defensive end and offensive tackle for Lincoln Lutheran as a junior in 2020. He racked up 53 tackles and one forced fumble for a young Warriors team.
