The Nebraska Lasers and Team Factory are uniting at the high school level to create the Nebraska Supreme Girls Basketball Program. The partnership will will aim to provide an ultra competitive program with teams competing at the U15-U17 age levels.
The partnership will follow the boys model of Team Factory and Lincoln Supreme. Last spring and summer Team Factory and Lincoln Supreme boys programs formed Nebraska Supreme which competed on the Under Armour Association circuit.
“The opportunity to combine with Team Factory was a no-brainer,” said Nebraska Lasers director Andy Markowski. “I’ve had tremendous respect for the coaches and players in their program. It was fun to compete against them, but now the opportunity to support and grow girls’ high school basketball in the state with them is exciting.
“I look forward to combining with other high school coaches to offer a unique summer basketball experience while still allowing our student-athletes time for their respective school commitments.”
Team Factory director Brittany Wilson echoed the comments of Markowski.
“Team Factory is extremely excited to work with the Nebraska Lasers to form the Nebraska Supreme Girls Basketball Program at the high school level,” she said. “The Lasers organization has a proven track record over many years of developing athletes both on and off the court and producing opportunities for players at the next level.
“We look forward to coming together to provide a top-level experience for our student-athletes and building a tradition of excellence that sustains for many years to come.”
