Bellevue West Tight End Micah Riley Names Top Eight

0

Bellevue West junior Micah Riley has trimmed his list. The four-star tight end announced via Twitter a top eight of Arizona State, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon and Wisconsin.

“The reason I cut it down was those teams had the most contact with me,” the 6-foot-5, 238-pound junior said. “I feel like they would be the best fit for me. I could see myself playing at each one of those schools.”

In seven games, Riley had 23 receptions for 310 yards and seven touchdowns. His top eight schools were trimmed from a list of 19 power-conference schools including Penn State, Minnesota and Auburn.

Due to the suspension of in-person recruiting, Riley is like most 2022 athletes that haven’t had the opportunity to visit schools. Something he is hoping to do in the coming months.

The myriad of locations in his top eight schools shows that he isn’t necessarily focused on staying close to home.

“Location doesn’t matter,” said Riley.
