For the first time ever, one of the three major AAU shoe league/circuits — that includes Nike or EYBL, Adidas and Under Armour — is having an event in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area.
The Adidas Boys 3SSB Championships, which is an invite-only tournament-style event, will be played this Friday through Sunday at Iowa West Field House in Council Bluffs.
“We have established an incredible relationship with our friends at Adidas, and we are honored to be hosting the Adidas 3SSB and Gold Gauntlet Championships in Omaha and Council Bluffs in our facilities this weekend,” OSA owner Willie Douglas said. “We have been working diligently to ensure this will be a top notch event for all participants. We look forward to welcoming all teams and their fans from all over the country and Canada, along with the multitude of collegiate coaches who will be in attendance this weekend.”
