11-man Football Schedule Breakdown

The NSAA released the schedules for the 2022 and 2023 football seasons on Wednesday. Most districts changed and a few traditional rivalries are still on the schedule. Here is a look at how many playoff teams each 11-man team will face in 2022.

Notes: Bellevue West looks to have the toughest schedule of the teams that have seven 2021 playoff opponents on their schedule. The T-Birds were one of the four 2021 semifinalists and they have the other three (Gretna, Omaha North and Omaha Westside) on their 2022 schedule.

Notes: Omaha Roncalli and Aurora are two teams that made the 2021 Class B playoffs that are moving down to C1 for the next cycle. Ashland-Greenwood has the toughest schedule with six playoff teams from 2021 on their schedule. The Bluejays open with 2021 C1 champion Lakeview and added Aurora and Roncalli in this cycle.

Notes: Aquinas and West Holt are the two teams with the toughest schedule. Aquinas’ schedule opens and ends with rivalry games against Scotus and Neumann. West Holt has their five playoff opponents in a row starting in week four and finishing in week eight.
