Alexis Mishou is possibly having the best volleyball season of her career this fall for Kearney, helping the Bearcats to a 12-6 start to the season.
This past weekend at the Allison Weston Invitational in Papillion, Mishou also become the all-time assists leader for Kearney, finishing the tournament with 2,277 for her career. The previous school record was 2,179.
For the season, the 5’9 senior has 454 assists (9.7 per set), which includes a season-high 43 in a sweep of Fremont earlier this month. She has also contributed 29 kills, 155 digs and seven service aces. Kearney is currently sitting in 11thplace in the Class A NSAA wild card point standings.
Mishou also is a standout on the basketball court, where she averaged more than 12 points a game last season for Kearney.
