It was a record-setting kind of night in the Class D-6 playoffs on Friday night.
Wilcox-Hildreth became the first team to ever score 100 points in a NSAA football playoff game as it defeated Creek Valley 100-56.
The previous record for most points scored in a NSAA playoff game was 90 points. Creighton scored 90 points in a D-1 game in 2016 and Giltner also scored 90 points in a D-2 game in 2012. The 156 combined points between Creek Valley and Wilcox-Hildreth is also the most ever between two teams in a NSAA playoff game. The previous record was 144 when Creighton beat Lourdes Central Catholic 90-54 in 2016.
